Democrats should be embarrassed as fuck that Bob Menendez is on the ballot for re-election. His corruption, even by New Jersey standards, is despicable for moral and ethical reasons. But also for pragmatic strategic reasons — his existence in the caucus provides the R’s with an unlimited bucket of “whatabouts” for all occasions.
