Like anything on the human body, things atrophy over time. Genetically I got my father’s eyes, my mother has been nearsighted her whole life, has worn glasses since she was seven. My father never wore glasses until his late 50s, for reading. He’s 70 now and has to wear corrective glasses while driving.
