There was a lot of psuedo-freaking out on MSNBC last night about the whole “peace and legislation” or “war and investigation” bit, but my first thought was about history repeating itself as farce, and was comforted knowing that this is Stupid Watergate:

1974: State of Nixon

It didn’t work out well for Nixon, and he was smart/competent. So, I’m guessing it’s not going to work out well for Trump.
