I disagree with The Post here:

Those who questioned President Obama’s initial decisions in this area — we among them — were not waging a “war on women,” as Democrats have alleged in strident fundraising appeals.

Even if you grant that the Catholic Church and its allies in this issue are operating on the basis of religious conviction, it is not inconsistent to see that religious conviction as another part of the war on women.

And the implication that fundraising appeals are an inappropriate reaction to this political battle is ludicrous. Money is the language of politics. Now more than ever.
