This is rather absurd because I found semi-popular reference to this as far back as 2007, 2008. It’s a passage in his book in which he describes,

With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy).

This took place somewhere around the time that Obama was 8 years old and living in Indonesia. Whatever one feels about either this or the Seamus story there is a big difference between the experience of an 8 year old boy in a foreign land where dog meat not an uncommon staple and a 36 year old mature adult. In any case, it’s false to say “Obama eats dog meat.” I tried sheeps brains once and nearly puked.
