My favorite bit is the ‘elite coastal counties’ where most Americans apparently live. How they figure a majority of Americans are elite, I’m not sure.

What I love is the people who create the crap about coastal elites are actual coastal elites themselves. All these conservative writers who love to talk about how the “Heartland” is real America don’t live anywhere near it. Honestly, i don’t care that Trump’s won more counties than Clinton. That’s like saying Alaska has a bigger GDP than say Illinois because of its land size. Land size is impressive but only in terms of geography, in terms of politics it’s frankly irrelevant. So yeah liberal/Democratic voters reside in more densely populated areas. That doesn’t change that 2.5 million more votes were given to Clinton than Trump.
