A cold day in the South: #GOESEast spotted these rare cloud streets in the Gulf of Mexico today. Notice the swath of (quickly melting) #snow from Louisiana to Georgia. More satellite imagery: https://t.co/mbgRYot60A #lawx #mswx #alwx #gawx #winter2018 pic.twitter.com/op6vElOy7U

And this spot in North Carolina received more snow out of a storm than the ski area has received all this month.
Snow’s over. We got 7” in Reidsville, North Carolina, north of Greensboro. Drifts are 18”+ deep in spots. This was a high-end snowstorm for around here and above most forecasts last night. Very impressive. pic.twitter.com/j2VzQFTvQ4
