This is what the Swedish medical info system (LIF/FASS) has to say about Ivermectin tablets:
“Djurstudier har visat reproduktionstoxikologiska effekter. Ivermektin ska endast användas under graviditet då det är strikt indicerat.”, which Swedish for
“Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicological effects. Ivermectin should be used during pregnancy only when strictly indicated.” Which I believe is medicalese for “use only when you have to, or as a medication of last resort.”
They even discourage pregnant women or women who want to become pregnant from using the topical cream.
So TL;DR is reproductive toxicity, alas not permanent effects that I can find.

Which means the study in question actually builds on this past work. It may be spurious, it may be valid, but it’s not that surprising of a result.
