I’m jumping in late here, but the moonbats on digg, Kos, et al. were working themselves up into a good frenzy of hatred for McCain by the end there. Granted, he was generally liked by all until the election, but after the primary was over, they were screaming about how he was a crazy, senile warmonger who literally enjoyed war for no other reason than that he loved the thought of blood being spilled.

Basically, they tried to pull a Dick Cheney mask over John McCain’s face. And their mask wasn’t even of the real Dick Cheney; it was of their malevolently willful misconstrual of him.
