My buddy used to send me news clippings about people driving through crowded bus stops there.

He quit sending them after a while. He was spending too much money on stamps.

It was stunning how many times that happened. It seemed to be a combination of impaired drivers and having the bus stops x-number of feet past an intersection. People would take turns too fast and plow right into the people waiting at the bus stop.
