The allegation is that they didn’t do anything, ignoring the reality that there was nothing that could be done in a time frame to save the Ambassador or staffers. Only assets that were available in short order were unarmed UAVs, which orbited the site.

Only after Benghazi did the DoD organize a rapid response force to address diplomatic security breaches.

That’s after decades where diplomats were targeted and for which the DoD provided no option other than security details already at those facilities.

Congress cut State Department security budget, but somehow this is on Obama?

Cognitive dissonance applies to the JWF and others who think the President did nothing - or worse - chose not to do anything. And that’s really what they’re getting at. They think that the President had options, but did nothing.
