Do you wrap your cosmetics/liquid cleansers/perfumes/hair spray in a multitude of grocery bags like I do? I awaited for a week of work once with everything in my suitcase saturated in hair spray. Ever since, everything that could leak, spill, seep or anything close gets wrapped within an inch of its useful life.

I’m like you. I used to get suites with kitchens and hit local grocery stores for food for a week. I’d dine out at lunch and veg at night. Eight years on the road 85%+ of the time made dining out alone a bore.

Haven’t done that (the wrapping thing). Will have to keep it in mind when I pack next week for 3-1/2 weeks on the road. I’m with you—dining out alone is a bore. It’s not that I’m uncomfortable going out by myself—just that I’d rather watch TV or read a book in a quiet room if I’m alone.
