It’s pretty odd though, that the symbol of a loan shark is not a Star of David but the 3 globes from the Medici coat of arms.

I’ve never seen, or at least recognised the Medici globes. When I google ‘predatory lending symbol’ I mostly get this:

In all seriousness, maybe I’ve seen the symbol and not noticed it. Or maybe I’m more sensitive to that blatantly anti-Semitic shit like the ‘sheriff star’.
