I honestly don’t know what the answer is, but I know that the AR15 seems uniquely problematic. Short of total confiscation, I don’t see how we rid ourselves of them, so we’re down to determining what features we can proscribe to make them less deadly in mass shootings.

Let’s go with confiscation, but paying a reasonable amount for the weapons. The state can take land from individuals — it should be able to take this type of weaponry too.

Those schoolteachers in Israel, every last one of them, are combat veterans. And they’re all still in the reserves, with up-to-date training. If they have to go into battle this afternoon, against Egyptian tanks, on 2 hours notice, they’re ready.

Sounds like the definition of a well-regulated Militia!!
