Just heard Sasse on NPR say we should honor McCain with ethics reform and the end of careerist politicians. Very well but McCain was on his fifth President in Congress and wasn’t exactly living modestly. Nothing wrong with being a Washington careerist but Sasse came off well intentioned but hollow in light of the career of the man he’s talking about but better than Inhofe’s Trump ass in mouth response.

Sasse supports the Koch Bros attempt to rewrite the Constitution through a Convention of States. This includes a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress; thereby eliminating legislative expertise and knowledge and exalting lobbyists (even more than now) and unelected staff at the expense of those who are supposed to represent constituents. He is a member of the Trump brigade who has exhibited to date no interest imposing any ethical limits on the dictator wannabe currently running this country.
