That’s alright, I just saw an NPR report earlier whose argument was “Yeah, all this Cohen business is really damaging to Trump and is totally felonious, but it’s not ‘collusion’ and so Trump could claim the whole things political!”

That’s what they’re setting up for, preparing to argue that unless Mueller puts Trump and Putin in the same room, mugging for a picture while holding a folder labeled “Plans to steal the presidency!” on it in full view, then the whole investigation is a failure and Trump comes out looking “vindicated.”

I hope they all get overconfident thinking there is nothing there as Mueller continues to work. It might free up some mouths to start talking about “things.”
