I agree that the Republicans got fewer popular votes. And that they got the majority of the electoral votes. And that there are, at least to me, a lot of questions on how much help they got in their election efforts.

I am not sure that they are currently governing successfully. Although, I can see the argument that they could view it that way, if the only metrics they care about are shifting the country’s wealth to a few ultra rich, and appointing lots of Federal judges.
