I wonder how they deal with the food and garbage form the rooms. The virus is probably spreading through the common ducting for the air conditioning system on the boat the boat.

88 new infected cases with COVID19 at the Diamond Princess cruise ship were confirmed on Wednesday. 65 of them have no symptoms. A total of 542 infected people have been confirmed contracting coronavirus on the ship: Yomiuri Shimbun.

My go-to coronavirus site for the past couple weeksyesterday added “Diamond Princess” to its list of “countries” that have experienced infections, and retitled the “country” classification as “country, other”. — which makes sense since this is the largest outbreak outside of China and it cannot be tied to a country. Given the number of people infected and the daily increase, the plague ship is clearly circulating the disease among those who are uninfected; it would not be surprising if everyone on board eventually contracts the disease if staff and passengers remain confined there. The experts need to develop a different approach to handling communicable diseases, other than confinement on a vessel that is not equipped to handle a quarantine.

Still only 5 deaths among the 1000 cases outside of China — but will have to wait a couple weeks to how this progresses.
