Today’s been just one of those days, where I’m not sure which to be more upset about.

First, we had Glenn Beck on his radio show today railing against the evils of the following: community organizing, trade unionists (equating them with Marx, Lenin and international communism), “the outcasts of society”, “architects of a new world order”, all with the backing of Soros and similar financiers - and goes on to say that we’re on the path of the 1930s. Yeah, Glenn. The only thing missing from your screed today was an exaltation of racial identity/purity.

Now we have this thread, which is a continuation of the half dozen or so stories we’ve had regarding stripping of women’s reproductive freedom. America’s Talibangelicals honestly have decided that “A Handmaids Tale” was designed as a guidebook instead of as a cautionary story.

Wait, workers organizing in unions is Marxist? And need to be fought?
