To be fair, some of the veterans quoted in the article were deported in 2010 under Obama. They had been convicted of crimes after their service and were deported for that reason. I am sure Trump has exacerbated this process and made things worse but the policy discussed in this article was carried out by the previous administration, though it continues today.

If they are good enough for the military they should be good enough to be citizens. If they commit crimes and are convicted they should go to jail.
