I’ve never tried that. I have either gone to Best Buy or an AT&T store. I mostly get turned off by the “it’ll take a week to get it to you.”

Getting the phone wasn’t the issue. I got the new phone in three days.

The problem was they totally screwed up my account by adding a second line to get the new phone. And then is was all downhill from there.

I’ve been promised three times now that the second line would be cancelled and that my total bill would be what I thought it was going to be.

Internally they are one messed up company. Their computer systems are a mess and don’t seem to hold the changes they make.

Actually their system was what started the whole problem. The first agent I spoke with couldn’t put the order through one afternoon. She called me back the next day and still had issues and then nothing happened.

I get the phone and on July 1st when my account was updated and I finally could see online what I would be paying I lost it. I was looking at another $50 a month.

Then I called them and after what probably amounts to 10 hours on the phone over a week, 15 agents and several promises it was going to be fixed I had to call them again today. Of course I have been promised it is all fixed now…but I heard that last Friday and this past Monday.

I wish I had the wherewithal to start a class action suit for customer abuse. I have a feeling I am not the only one that has gone through this mess.
