China’s Belt-and-Road Initiative is more aspirational than reality (draw Asia-Europe-Africa-and South America into a new China-led economic order) but it may have just gotten a huge boost from Trump.

If China can demonstrate that it is a fair and reliable partner, then why should it not be a world leader?
