Jesus, I was looking at your earlier list. Who haven’t you seen?

The Beatles Forest Hills show caught my attention. Are the cliches true and you couldn’t hear them over the screaming girls?

Well, as one of the screaming girls (along with my mother—sigh), I have to say it was weird—like the screams were on one decibel level but you could actually hear the music on another (if that makes any sense.)

I also saw them at Shea—for that one, my mother (who glommed onto my Beatle frenzy) took the train into the city (we lived on Long Island at the time) and stood in line for tickets. She didn’t tell anyone until the day of the concert and then said, “Don’t you wish you were going tonight?” Of course, the answer was yes, and then she whipped out 6 tickets.

I know I’ve seen more than are on my list, but it’s hard to remember (I iz old).
