Yeah prunes get a bum rap because they’re thought as anti constipation food but I like dried fruit and I cannot agree more that a big pickle on a good sandwich goes a long way. The delis have gotten that for years.

Over the long weekend I made Mojo-marinated pork shoulder in the Instant Pot, which The Boys and I put to good use making Cubanos last night. The Younger Boy didn’t want any pickles on his, but The Older Boy gets it. In fact, he’s the one who walked to Trader Joe’s to buy the pickles.
