I enlisted in the navy 40 years ago this year (not to the day but in 1982). Was rejected for medical reasons. Hey, 2 open heart surgeries by the time I was 12 years old, what’s the problem. :-)

I have a cousin that really needed to get into the military to get away from his family and the circumstances around him, and could not get in because of various medical issues, though not as bad as yours.
