Even if you ignore that part, the part they didn’t ignore says NOTHING ABOUT individual rights. It refers to PEOPLE which is a collective.

What they meant by people were white men who were required to “sign up” for militia duty and attend periodic musters instead of having a standing army. That’s the historic context for the 2nd amendment.
