I live with a woman who is/was too pretty for her own well being. She doesn’t want or appreciate compliments and finds them very … hmm … “empty”. She can barely take any attention as she was so overwhelmed with unwanted sexual advances from 14 through ???.

Personally, I’d consider myself to be a ridiculous romantic but it just manifests differently in our particular relationship.

Well there is the secret of guys like us getting the most beautiful women.

If a woman is truly beautiful and very smart, this society puts her at a tremendous disadvantage. The average pretty sorority types hate her and other women hiss in her presence. When she opens her mouth and is much smarter, then feminine insecurity does the rest.

With men, they already think they have no chance so when she opens her mouth and says something smart, they turn to complete jerks. Masculine insecurity does the rest.

The upshot is that such women are often very lonely and feel terribly isolated.

If you can talk to one of them intelligently without having your ego threatened, have reasonable manners and actually care about her ideas like you would with anyone else, getting a date is easy.
