So there’s this interesting story in New York magazine, How Republicans Justify Unlimited Trump Corruption

I sent it to a good friend who is a Republican (who did not vote for Trump, or for Hil). His response floored me:

Look, I know you are sore about the election. So pick a better candidate.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but it seems to me he’s saying that because of the Electoral College, the GOP has the right to be as corrupt as it wants.

It’s a copout. I hear it at work. When it all goes to shit, it’ll be Democrats fault that Trump won.
