If Trump is ultimately going down, the entire GOP rank-and-file are going down with him.

That Reich post, I believe, was done almost out of parody towards the GOP. Trump is analogous to the flu virus transmitted throughout the host body. Anyone with an IQ above 9 knows that the party wished this upon themselves and are perfectly fine with this kamikaze mission on our representative republic.

The Republican Party as a collective unit is unfit to serve. Putin, should he want to wish utter chaos on the entire system of government, has the ability to get a massive chunk of our leadership outed and thrown in jail.

Let’s assume that the GOP leadership have already conceded 2018 and 2020. That still gives them carte blanche to yield an untold amount of pain that will take decades to reverse if we don’t stop them.
