This still haunts me to this day:

Does anyone else think Trump would visit the museum and come out with tears flowing from his eyes afterwards?
I was emotionally speaking a fucking wreck after visiting the museum. I’ve never bawled my eyes out so fucking much until stepping foot in there and seeing the ugly and horrific reminders of nuclear war. I could have quit halfway but I’ve came so far and wide and I was determined to go through the entire museum even if meant breaking down at the end. To this day, I still can not speak of Hiroshima and my visit without feeling choked up over it. A grim reminder on how humanity is capable of inflicting horrific damage as a way to one-up the other.
I said something similar earlier today. Seeing the gruesome relics of the victims — pocket watches, lunch pails, school bookbags, clothes — and the twisted steel girders carries much more impact than reading about the bombing, or watching documentaries.
