As bad as Dubya was, and he was horrible, I was reassured by the nepotistic dynamics. It was a dysfunctional last ditch security blanket for sure. Im not into his rehabilitation at all.
Rehabilitation is not the word, it is just that he now comes across as a competent, experienced politician in comparison to the current President. And he was at least sincere in his beliefs and principles. And I even agreed with his views on immigration reform, which, of course, his own party refused to back him on.
