And that’s really the angle Nunes is going for here: Release the “memo” sans the underlying intel, so that the public can’t know that it’s all horseshit because any inquiries to see the evidence will be bounced back with “That’s highly classified!”

But certainly people, the media, even Fox News would recognize this memo was written by Republicans, or by one Republican in particular, and wouldn’t just accept its claims at face value, they would demand more right? They would know to distrust an obviously biased, partisan account with no supporting information, right?
