I predict that after Kavanaugh is confirmed, Roberts won’t reverse Roe on the very first go. They will just never see any burden on abortion rights that they consider “undue.” Then once abortion becomes virtually illegal across much of the country and Roe is effectively a dead letter, they will reverse it. This is one of the reasons Democrats should pack the Court the next time they have the power, to restore the balance the GOP took when they stole Garland’s seat.
