Yeah, I was there for a lot of this. Remember when Prop 187 passed, and the outrage in the state. I met Gray Davis way back in ‘92 in a law office, where he was doing the donations dance in front of a bunch of Los Angeles kingmakers.

Not impressed then. He really blew it, leading to the disastrous Governator experiment - about as close as California came to electing a Trump.
