No, America and Somalia are not equivalent. If you wanted to go into a bad neighborhood in Somalia, you had to have a whole convoy, preferably with a couple of M-60 tanks (borrowed from the Italians) along for deterrence even though they are bad for what’s left of the pavement.
In America, you can probably manage with a single MRAP, or possibly even an armor kitted Humvee if you have drone support.
