I figured out a while ago that people are animals, i watch how they treat each other when one is powerful and the other is disabled, seen it first hand

My dad was a drunk, and during the worst of it, there wasn’t much that was moral about him.

I’ll always honor and cherish the fact that he turned it around toward the end of his life, but with me it’s definitely been a case of being able to forgive but not forget.
