When the Jonestown Massacre happened; it was the most horrible, yet interesting news story I’d ever heard of. I was sixteen and completely immersed myself in every sordid detail I could find on it. The whole thing fascinated me.

Didn’t put me in counseling or anything, but it warped me (a little more).

While this is completely different; it has kind of the same “fascinating loonyness vibe” to it.

I didn’t know much about the Jonestown Massacre until PBS did a special on it a few years ago. They had the recordings on their website— it was horrible yet eerily fascinating.
