We who lean right a lot or even a little like me must admit that the first black President was three steps forward, and that the election empowered the racists who now have taken us two full steps back. Coarsened the debate, the GOP itself & damaged the conservative brand of moderate politics.

This too time. Remember when I went to an early TP event here & posted images? Zero racist signs at that early event. But as a little time passed the racism grew like a cancer that was weak but metastasized and became hyper aggressive.

The racism was always there, under the surface.
