Slight rant coming. I apologize in advance (for the rant, not the content).
I have NEVER had questions about the morality of abortion. Such moral issues are created by men to give them power over women. Abortion is a relatively simple procedure and there is no reason, moral or medical why it should be the never ending discussion point of male politicians, religious nutcakes and similar.

The world is massively overpopulated and if a woman, for whatever reason, does not want to have a child, she should not be forced to do so. This never ending debate has led to forcing women to listen to B.S., be told lies, have unnecessary medical procedures and be treated in a hateful disgusting fashion by those who stand and scream outside of clinics set up to provide love and help.

I know a number of women who have had abortions and NONE have ever regretted same. Most have gone on to become loving mothers at a different stage of their lives. They would actually like to be able to discuss their positive views on abortion using their own experiences, but too often they are then attacked for those views and/or derided for what they have done, so most discussions stay in the “general” sphere of pro choice.

No-one should be forced to carry a babe for someone else. Even if every last anti abortion protester offered to raise all those children, this should not detract from a woman’s right to choose. There is nothing wrong or immoral in terminating a pregnancy. Speaking of it in terms of morality is wrong - saying there are situations were it is valid (saving the life of the mother) detracts from the fact that is is always valid, if that is what is wanted.

I agree 100% with you. That’s why I am now completely pro-choice.
