Only Hillary Clinton lost to a completely unprepared, unqualified, dithering old racist with no political experience. Gore lost to a governor of a large state, McCain lost to a fellow Senator, Romney and Kerry lost to incumbent presidents - their opponents, whether you liked them or not, were at least within the bounds of decency and competence we expect from a President of these United States. Hillary Clinton’s loss is the New England Patriots losing to a Division III college team, or Manchester United losing to a midlevel team in the National League

If you are going to go with that as an argument, then what was the entire cast of 15 or so other GOP candidates? Trump rolled over the GOP like they were a high school team.

I look at Trump as a phenomena that came at the right time and with outside help unknown in technique for stealing an election. He was the perfect storm.

I think you are being a little hard on Hillary and might be making some of the counterpoints to the debate, such as is she being judged differently than a man?

Did she have any more political baggage than say Dick Nixon? He was crushed in ‘60, was not all that well liked and came back and won in ‘68. But then, he was a man, so he may have been ‘allowed’ to make mistakes.

Of course Nixon didn’t have Twitter and Fox news…and Russians acting like Nixon supporters.
