re: #162 Anymouse 🌹
As others have noted here, I am a Luddite, as I never saw a need to get on Twitter and Facebook.
Considering how much complaining others do about the Dumpster fire that they are, I am surprised they stay.
Is it really worth staying on those platforms to “stay in touch with family” when we have ancient Luddite technologies like telephone service? Letters? E-mail?
I guess I just don’t understand the attraction. I don’t mind poking around Twitter looking for humorous tweets, but doing things like “curating” a Facebook page or Twitter timeline take time I don’t wish to expend.
I certainly don’t need a pile-on of a bunch of Nazis suddenly overtaking my pages if I had them.
If you had a facebook account from literally the platform’s inception like I have, you might understand. It’s a quick way to get in touch with people. Facebook anyhow is a great, quick way of organizing events too.
