What I don’t like about it is that it feeds the narrative of “Establishment Dems cave to GOPers when it counts, fail to stand up for vulnerable people” and demoralizes key elements of the base - especially when it would’ve taken only 41 Dems to stop it! (not 100% sure of this, though)
