What a stupid dance there is around guns.

I would have a hard time deciding if guns in America are in fact more cherished than the Evangelical Christian God. They might be seen as one in the same.

The Holy Quartet. God, His Son, The Holy Ghost and The Most Holy Gun.

It is the New American Religion.

The Gun is essentially the same as the Evangelical Christian God. The Gun is part of the same religion - one of violence, power, racial superiority, and abuse of any not of the tribe. Guns are both a religious talisman, the love of which identifies you as part of the tribe, and a means by which to violently enforce the cultural domination that is the core of the religion.
