Bush didn’t treat his political opponents like enemies. I was struck reading Ted Kennedy’s autobiography how W still reached out to him on immigration after Teddy rightfully criticized a lot of his agenda. Believe he also invited him to a viewing of 13 Days at the WH. Bush was a bad President but not a tyrant want to be toddler.
