I stopped reading the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung when they ran an op-ed from a speaker of the AfD, a right-wing populist party.

The FAZ was always a rather right-leaning newspaper, but generally well written and researched, but after that I was not going to spend money on it.

Man, when you’ve lost the right-wing Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, you know that you’ve gone a bit too far with all the “unleash the army on brown people” stuff

The Germans have seen this movie before, and they’ve been trying to warn us for years. Unfortunately, Fox News and the hysterical freaks on Hate Radio have drowned them out.
