I am going to go out on a limb and say not only is Sanders the wrong messenger, but his message itself is shit. The proof is in the mam himself. It is a message he has no hope of implementing, and hasn’t made any significant strides in doing so for the last 20 years. It didn’t resonate with any majority of the left that wasn’t white and male. So what makes us continue to pay him lip service like he didn’t do anything but weaken the party since he showed up? He’s the Dem’s Sarah Palin, except she at least has some sense of party identity.

I’ll have to check around, but there was a poll published that showed that Bernie supporters are not prepared to actually pay the taxes it would take to fund all the “free” shit he’s selling. They’re all convinced that the rich are going to pay for everything, totally ignorant of how the sausage is actually made at the federal level. They do not grasp the concept of there being no such thing as a free lunch.
