Obama’s getting paid for speeches?

He could take in $400,000 a speech? Alrighty then. Sounds like a pretty good gig. That’s capitalism and all that. Good for him.

That’d also be in the top tax rate and unless he donates the money to charitable causes, it’ll get taxed at the top tax rate, which is… 39.6%.

Now compare that with Trump and his tax plan. Trump’s pushing to cut his taxes by more than half - his tax plan specifically would reduce his passthrough income by more than half; eliminate the AMT, and the estate tax.

So, which one do you think people should get upset about.

Oh, a few folks are complaining Obama that he shouldn’t speak to banks or certain groups, but again what is he doing with the money is his own business.

We don’t hear much of GWB and the speeches he gives. And he gives plenty of speeches and makes quite a bit of coin in the process. Yeah, we’re on Obama double standard time again.

People seriously need to recalibrate their outrage for where it actually matters, and on what matters.

Obama giving speeches isn’t it. That’s not in the ballpark. That’s not even in the same fucking universe (yeah, there’s that cursing thing). Trump. That’s the entire game.
