Mike, your party’s voters voted for him. Trump would be just another crank if the voters in your party weren’t receptive to his message but they were. Ask yourself why that is instead of acting like this is just Trump.

Republicans have been training their voters for this moment all my life. During the Reagan Administration Senator Barry Goldwater warned the party about that in a speech on the Senate floor. They didn’t listen to him.
