re: #40 MsJ
I’ve had to deal with ERs more than I ever care to share over the past few years, and more than a few of them were in NYC and/or on Saturday night or at 2am on a holiday weekend, and the ERs uniformly triage patients based on their seriousness of the condition.
Throwing your back out isn’t as serious as an open fracture, or a heart attack, or stroke, or other health crises. But I also question whether they were told to go outside to a bench while waiting for an ER doc. That doesn’t pass the smell test.
