In the minds of wingnuts, playing to the worst stereotypes of Jews by portraying George Soros as a money-grubber who uses his ill-gotten wealth to influence powerful leaders and orchestrate social unrest is not the cause of antisemitism in America. It’s first-term Congresswomen and NYT editorial writers criticizing the unquestioning devotion of American conservatives to Bibi Netanyahu that promotes antisemitism.

The fact is the right has been very hostile to American Jews from the start.
